You can read more about me & my sustainability focused travels on my profile □ INCLUSIONS: ➡️ Logistics & booking responsibility removed from yourself & taken care of ➡️ Accommodation (Dorm rooms or shared rooms, only within our group). Currently, I manage ultra high net worth clients travels as a personal manager for a luxury concierge company. I am looking for fun, open-minded TripMates who enjoy good conversation, a mixture of activities & trying new things to join me on an EPIC adventure experiencing this magical country □□ □□ I am 31, British □□ & have been traveling solo for over 15 years across 65 countries! I organised group & individual trips as a career for over 8 years around Asia, Africa, the Oceania & Americas. It really is an Arabian dream if you're ready to be open minded & don't mind long journeys between stops in the car. I have lived in the Middle East for nearly 10 years and I would love to show you another country less travelled if you are ready to be opened minded and wow'd by the sheer hospitality of the Saudis and the beautiful desert landscapes & UNESCO sites. It's an exciting time to visit Saudi, around 1.5 years after they officially opened up more so tourists - they've held their first EDM festival, made it legal for women to drive & are currently creating the first of its kind city 'the line' that will excess upwards rather than across lots of land. 90min would have been enough time to enjoy my breakfast at the hotel! Long story short, it was nice to stay at this beautiful place but I would not at all recommend this resort to friends, family or fellow traveler.□□ A lot of people have a pre-conception of Saudi Arabia which is unfortunately exaggerated by the western social media. Furthermore, they schedule the car transfers so early, that you have to wait for 90min at a place called "Winterpark" where most of the tours start. People are travelling to the same "meeting-points" for their excursions or to airports! What is "eco-friendly" when booking for every single traveler a big car, instead of just providing shuttle cars? Well obviously money is the reason, but then please don't call your resort "eco-friendly". Otherwise you're stuck on (overpriced) hotel cars - and I still don't get it! This resort claims to be "eco-friendly". When planning to stay at this resort, you need to get a rental car. The staff, specially at the front desk needs a lot more of education in hospitality and customer service to meet the standards, to justify the high prices. □ What I found was unfortunately the worst service I ever experienced in a hotel around this price range. ![]() ![]() Habitas, known for its bohemian resorts in Tulum (Mexico) and Namibia, set the expectations of any luxury traveler very high. □ Habitas al-'Ula set right in the heart of the protected Ashar Valley - an etheral, otherworldly landscape of soaring rock formations and endless desert plains - is one of the most beautiful places I've seen so far. This post was quite difficult for me to write, because I was looking so much forward to this stay. The food & beverage concept infuses Saudi & Middle Eastern cuisine, using local, fresh ingredients, such as spices once traded along the incense route, bringing Saudi Arabia’s unique flavors to life. With farm-to-table practices and sustainable agricultural methods. Tama, the restaurant, is a place to come together and experience an immersive culinary journey through time. ![]() Our six programming pillars, which include: wellness, adventure, culture, learning and F&B are authentic collaborations with the local culture and nature.
